The first training session that ran at 7:30am on the Saturday Morning brought in the worst weather. The temperature was cold and brought snow flurries, wind and rain. The weather did not stop or even slow down the girls. Everyone was happy to be on the field with their new team-mates and thoughts of travelling to

The majority of the team, parents and a few siblings gathered in
Andrew Schouten, representing Total Field Hockey, introduced the head coach Aaron Guest and the team manager Zanadra Harvey to the athletes and parents. Each athlete then said a quick blurb about themselves and everyone went on enjoying the evening.
There was much excitement in the air as the girls sized up their uniforms and got to know their fellow team-mates.
Everyone enjoyed the tremendous amount of food and getting to know each other. It was a great way to kick off the start of the tour.
