Favorite Memories

My favourite memory occurred during the final day of the tournament. We made the finals and it was such an amazing moment to stand on the Olympic field with your team-mates beside the Japanese Junior National Team and have the Canadian National Anthem played.

Although we came for the HockeyFest, which was a great experience, my favourite memory was the footie game. It opened by eyes to a whole new sport that is fast paces, high scoring and hear hitting at the same time. The MCG was an amazing venue, and the game itself was priceless. Definitely a most unforgettable experience!

The best memory of the tour for me was the day of the finals. Having people cheering for you, warm-up up music, the anthems played, and a good game of hockey. The evening that day as well, the dinner and disco were lots of fun. I will never forget thelast day of the tournament.

When Antoni made the spectacular save against the Sutherland in sudden death shoot-outs and we all charged onto the field to congratulate him. We were all ecstatic and had an awesome feeling as we ran a victory lap of the pitch lead by John chanting gout ridiculous stuff. .

As we all linked arms on the sidelines, we watched as Toni saved what most would say was a perfect stroke. And we all rushed the net and felt for the first few moments like we has won the final. Seeing the pure joy and happiness of my team-mates as we finally felt like a team and we were ready to take on the Japanese

I don't have just one favourite memory because the whole trip was sick, but a few memories stand out. For example, when Toni saved the sudden death stroke in the semis and we celebrated and I didn't get hit in the face. Another was standing on the field in the finals and listening to the Canadian anthem and having everyone watch you.
