My favourite memory of the tour has to be the final night. Me, Breanne, Nicole, & Katrina pulled an all-nighter with our good friends from the tournament (Southgate boys). During the tournament they cheers us on and we cheered them on so we became good friends. We traded jerseys for t-shirts with them and then we all signed them for each other. We sang songs (ohh ee) and danced around. We played football and cricket on the pitch then we peaced on the couched in the hostel. We talked for a while and had a lot of fun. We all clicked with the boys and very well and we LOVE THEM and will miss everyone so much. It was so nice of them to stay up all night with us as was final good-bye. We all hugged them and were off.
It's impossible for me to pick just one. I loved meeting everyone and I think little imperfections in the tour and for great memories. One great one would be giving direction to our Christian Youth Hostel "oh yeah, across the canal, down a dark alley, past the red light district, then down the blue light district.' When we won the trophy for sportsmanship – the cup was bigger than the first place one and we get more cheers than everyone else.
If I had to pick the most favourite memory of the tour I would have to pick the last day of the tour. Play amazing hockey, winning the most sportsmanlike game play trophy, play few sports in one (combining hockey, soccer, cricket and football). But I would say that the all-nighter was the best of the day because I had so much fun wit the Brits that I caught one of their accents.
Just meeting 15 new girls and getting to know them and making new friends.
My favourite memory of the tour was the tournament. Playing teams from all over the world was so cool. Also, the disco was a blast. Nice guys, okay music and lots of dancing. To wrap up the tournament memory: winning the "most sportsmanlike team." I couldn't believe it; especially because I'm pretty sure I hurt a few players by accident!
Out of everything we did in Holland over the course of our tour, winning the Sportsmanship Trophy at the tournament was by far my most favourite memory. When our team was awarded the trophy, I could not stop laughing. It was such an ironic moment of glory for us.
The many car rides we had yelling out the windows or going up to guys at random. The two guys on the bikes they were trying to hard to get back to us, but they didn't quite get there. All in all the HMH (hot man hunt) was pretty successful
My favourite memory of the tour was pulling an all-nighter on the last night. We hung out with tons of new friends, traded kit and exchanged emails… it was really sad when we had to leave so early.
My favourite memory is probably meeting and making friends with people from all over the World (England, Ireland, USA, and a lot of other places. Also, the last night of the tournament was enjoyable listening to bad music, talking to the other teams at the hostel.
