Elite Goalkeeping Camp (EGC)

Elite Goalkeeping Training by Total Field Hockey
State of art technology and preparation

Too many field players and not enough time to coach one goalie?  Does this sound familiar?

The challenge for most goalkeepers is that they do not get enough quality practice. Most teams only have one coach at each level and while they focus on the forwards and defense the goalkeepers end up with little technical instruction. Sometimes teams get by with minimal coaching and the goalkeepers are left to do their own thing. The problem occurs during games were techniques may be inadequate for a critical situation and results in easy goals for the opposition. The goalkeeper, despite his/her best efforts, is at a loss as to what to do. The goalkeeper position is not popular to begin with and these conditions tend to discourage even the most dedicated players.

Goalkeeping is a specialized position that requires specific training. Goalkeepers need to know the various techniques to use and when to use them. There are many types of goaltending techniques to learn and master. It is also important to instruct a goalkeeper when to use a specific technique. There are times when the goalkeeper can commit to a certain technique and times when using the same techniques will be disastrous.

Let us take the worry away and provide state of art goalkeeping coaching. We use current drills and techniques to coach goalkeepers with sound fundamentals and advanced techniques. A ratio of 4 goalkeepers to 1 coach will be strictly adhered to.

We also use the specialty equipment for goalkeeping training such as the Bola machine. It is the only one available for coaching club goalkeepers.

Internationally Used and Recognized

The BOLA machine has become an essential part of the training sessions for many of the world's national hockey teams. It is used in Holland as a key training aid for the national squad keepers and players. National squads in Great Britain, Australia, Netherlands and India and an ever increasing number of Hockey clubs all over the world are also using the BOLA in their training sessions.
